Yes it did affect my period in a VERY good way - went from a 2-3 week period to a 2-3 day period exactly every 28 days. I was 43 when I started Iodine and have been taking it for 2 years. It took I think a month or two for my period to stabilize but it is wonderful to now know that my period will start in the afternoon of the 28th day.
