Me too. I've been pondering this for a bit now. I think it's one part indicative of where society is (can we just be 'normal' like everybody else and just not make waves? boring.), one part Sugar (can we just sugar-coat it so the medicine goes down more easily? boring.) and one part symptomatic of how people hide from themselves (sacred mirrors at work here everywhere - not boring but certainly not easy).
