Have you considered a chiropractor or a kinesiologist?

I'm thinking that maybe you stressed yourself and need to be realigned?

The fact that your discomfort had lingered for so long and is affecting your life so deeply seems to point to a need for more than dietary changes IMHO.

I hope that you can find the right direction to search asap so that you can return to your happy dancing self...
