Not sure how you are mixing it...

But I like to mix the olive oil with freshly squeezed grapefruit juice. This changes the consistency of the OO, and I drink the mixture with a straw... to avoid big overwhelming gulps of the stuff.

Also, nausea was just a part of the flushing for me in the beginning... my first few flushes had me up all night, feeling like I was on the ocean or something. It was terrible, but worth enduring.
