Thank you for this wonderful post! Are there any sites that talk about the significance of the number eleven that you know of? There are so many synchronicities for me right now that it is actually verging on freaking me out (including how I happened upon this page). I am leaving Wed. the 20th for a "vision quest", and will be on my solo fast on Aug. 27th. I also recently met a man who I have begun dating who turns forty on that day. I was affected by Sept. 11th because I worked at the WTC and 4 of my colleagues and 2 other acquaintances were killed in the attack. Since then, worse at the beginning, I have had a thing about eleven, mostly where, when I look at the clock, it is at 11 after the hour a disproportionate amount of the time. We were supposed to bring a handful of beads for a ceremony we'll be doing as part of the quest, and I bought mine today and as I was picking them out, I chose eleven beads, hoping in some way it might exorcise the eleven thing from my psyche. At home, I turned on the TV and there was this asrologer on a cable access channel signing off and saying something about August 27th, and so I found your post here in a google search. Anyway, sorry for the long tale, I probably sound like a loon, but if you read this before the 20th, maybe you can recommend something about 11? (I was also born on May 11th!)
