There are ways to - there was a PBS show with a Doctor of psychiatry, darn I have forgotten his name (oh-oh), there are herbal supplements that - if the disease is caught in time - can be very effective in keeping you (?) at a higher level of functioning but I have cared for Alzheimers patients at all levels of functioning
