Rush Limbaugh is nothing more than an inflated ego neo-con talking head who makes money by being controversial - the same way that Howard Stern does with a whole different audience.

It couldn't be anymore than that I suppose?

As far as I am concerned his hypocrisy was exposed once and for all when he was busted for being addicted to Oxcontin at the same time he was spewing venom about the evils of drugs and drug users.

I don't know how he got hooked on that pain killer.  It may have started with a legal prescription.  I think there are two different ways to become hooked on drugs.  The common way is just simply being rebellious and looking for an escape.

Limbaugh spoke about his rehabilitiation on his show.  He says they took him way back into his childhood and dealt with what happened to him then.  Being a student of alternative medicine, I find that interesting.

Personally I would never base any decisions on anything Limbaugh or Stern either one had to say.

Neither would I.  I have a mind and I think what he has to say isn't abstract.  He is entertaining and his show is thought provoking and his show is a source of news from a different viewpoint.
