Hi Akashic!

I don't know what Magi Astrology is, but I do know about the North Node.

The best book I have on the north node is called: Karmic Astrology by Schulman - all about the north node and it's positions.

Basically the south node is where your soul is coming from. So it is a spot that feels very comfortable and depending what aspects it has to other planets either people will not want to move from that comfortable (but slightly stagnant) spot...or they will definitely be encouraged to 'leap' towards their north node...which is where their soul wants to go in this lifetime.

Both the sign and the house position is important with the nodes.

Once someone has leapt towards their north node...they can bring all the good things they've learnt in the past, of their south node - making a bridge between the two. A balanced axis.

I love working with the nodes. In spiritual charts they take on even greater importance I think....or maybe it's just that the people are more interesting in leaping towards their north node...

Watching when any of the outer planets are making harmonious aspects to the north/south node axis is always interesting...because you can encourage people to pay attention to this energy that's encouraging them to make the leap and integrate the north node into their selves...
