Chrisb1,

One thing, if not much else, I learned long time ago, that person should “listen the body”.
As the owner of your body you are in the best position to judge how you feel!

There are newcomers coming to support columns every now and then looking for guidance for their chosen body treatment.
My advise to them is simple: Start with caution and do not overdo it, until you have your own experience.
Just for example, if someone takes up sport like running and ask what I should do, you aren’t going to give an advice of starting with a marathon!
That would be totally irresponsible!

I offered simple advice recently, which in my opinion doesn’t alter the end result measureably, but if that cup of tea gives a person psychological pleasure, it may does more good than harm. I didn’t say to do it every day!

From that incident I had a feeling that “you were looking for blood from someone’s nose” by promptly “correcting me”.
I don’t care if someone experienced in fasting manage to do 50 days of fast or more.
Many of the newcomers come with an innocent question often lacking knowledge like one should only do long fast under experienced supervision!
I don’t need “correction”!
Many of the newcomers come looking for it. So give them a helping advice, keeping in mind that many of them may not have knowledge as much as you do.

Regards

SF
