Oily fish dementia boosts queried
The 24th of January I questioned the conclusions in a study presented British Scientists who had found a correlation between low levels of Vitamin D in the blood risk for dementia. The study observed that “They found that compared to those with the highest vitamin D levels, those with the lowest were more than twice as likely to have impaired understanding”
Now, a UK study has cast doubt on claims that eating oily fish, high in contain of vitamin D, can protect against dementia in old age after all, according to BBC.
So why is this interesting for patients’ who suffer from chronic diseases, such as autoimmune disease?
