Why that is easy. It was MO. He knew more jokes than anyone I ever knew and he could remember them word for word. I had a southern accent being a girl from Kentucky and he would imitate my southern accent and tell his jokes. He had me laughing so much. My friend would tell me it was not proper to laugh in public and Mo would tell me to forget her.

When we were together, Mo did crazy things like go to Baskin and Robbins and order one banana split and two spoons. He told me, "Ok, in my family the one who eats the fastest gets the most." So we would have a race to see who could eat the fastest.

Then he would take me to a restaurant called Coco's and we would sit in the back booth so no one would stare at us being Muslim in America not easy and he would order us a waffle with ice cream, and he would just laugh and laugh. I never hardly saw Mo depressed. He was always positive, laughing and right out fun. He taught me how to laugh and he taught me how to love Allah so much.

A lot of people told me that Mo was the one who taught me all the Islamic creed, but he did not. I did that after he died, he taught me why it is good to be Muslim and he taught me faith. Mo was the best man in the whole world and the smartest too. He was an engineer and he knew 5 languages.

Laughter is so important in marriage, in relationships and in life. So to this day, 7 years after his death, I still remember laughter. I still remember good times. I wonder if each one of you can say the same about your spouse that you have today. I sure hope you are treasuring those times because surely they will pass.

I am smiling MO and I am so happy you are with Allah.

Love always lovely face,

SARA
