You applaud this article, csb, as do I, and I agree with it wholeheartedly, yet you also applaud forced community service. Force equals forced servitude. It goes against human nature. How do you explain your dichotomy?
Private citizens clamored to help Katrina victims. The goernment messed it up. When force enters into the picture, it automatically sparks resentment and so it grows from there.
