I use the Grossan Hydropulse irrigator.... It works great.... That company also makes an attachment that fits on a Water Pik, so you can get two machines for the price of one, basically.... I don't know what I'd do without my irrigator... it completely cleans out the mucus, even when you can't blow it out but you know it's up there... I've avoided many sinus infections by using this thing... I use it every day, although I only use Grapefruit-Seed-Extract when I feel something weird coming on... Some peeps put hydrogen peroxide in it, but I find that it stings too much and makes my sinuses swell up worse than before... But Grapefruit-Seed-Extract doesn't really sting, if you don't use too much and you're not really infected... Use cool water... it helps shrink the tissues... One note, however -- the company claims everyone should use the machine, but I don't agree... If your ostia (sinus draninage openings) are really small and swollen most of the time, you may force water into your sinuses, but not be able to get it out... I say MAY, because everybody's different... Just be careful and try it out before you commit to it long-term... Since I had FESS, though, my ostia are HUGE, and all the water drains out nicely...
