with the salt water rinses, i use "simply saline" when i get really plugged up in my left sinus. i don't just spray it up my nostril, like it states on the directions, but go a step further and spray it in my nose like usual, then lye on my bed, on my back with my head hanging upside down off the bed. i then sway my head back and forth and move it from side to side just to get the saline solution up into the sinus cavities. it doesn't stop the pain and pressure immediately but i can tell it is working and the pressure almost completely subsides within a day. i also asked to dr. if what i am doing is safe and he said it was. just another option you might want to try if nothing else works:)
