well thats the way its initially taught, at least in the gary craig manual.

then if you notice on the videos they change the technique and use all sorts of variations, including changing the reminder slightly for different tapping points.

the same on other eft practioner videos ive seen such as on youtube.

persanally i tend to stick to the same reminder phrase for each point.
