What has worked for me:

Colon and whole body cleanse (the kid is sold at every place they sell vitamins).

Zinc pills. They will stop the smell right away, but will not go to the root of the problem.

Gargles with Hydrogen peroxide or Peroxil. ( sold at any pharmacy) All the old bacteria will die and the bad smell will be gone leaving you with a fresh breath.

Very important step:

Vitamin (B6) Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, and Multi-Enzymes and Probiotics Formula. I use Rexal, sold at Walmart. It works perfectly.

As I have read, Body Odor comes from lack of enzymes and stomach acids to digest proteins and fats, that will go to the intestine without being digested and into the boodstream along with fecal matters that make the body smell, I take Vitamin B6 and enzymes plus probiotics as directed by the manufacturer to help digest my food.

If Bad breath continues, if it comes from cavities. Visit your dentist. If you have implants, probably the cavity is under any implants.

I forgot to tell you. I avoid food with soy protein in it. Even when I already solved my problem I am still afraid of soy protein and read labels. At least for me all the problem was caused by undigested proteins.
