Thanks for the informed response.

I was half wondering whether it was good thing due to fact that skin is intended to be intrinsically involved in the process.

I used the same amount of clay as last time but I made a point of making sure all the clay was dissolved into the water and not to leave any clumps of clay lying at the bottom of the bath.In the past I have been slack in this regard. Maybe this extra preparation increased the potency.
