I read on this forum about adding half tsp of baking soda to 1 tsp of ascorbic acid powder in a little water, let it fizz and add more water and drink it to avoid stomach irritation and hemorrhoids problems that could cause ascorbic acid alone.
Whether is true or not I'm not sure yet.
