What I am saying is that if we truly/deeply love God, we should love GOD ONLY, not His book also (when I say GOD ONLY, it should be remembered that Jesus is the whole fullness of God...

Colossians 2:9
"For in him the whole fulness of deity dwells bodily".

"God is ONE" (Galatians 3:20).

Jesus said "I and the father are ONE" (John 10:30).

It is only that you are "drawing a conclusion" that you can say that we should love...
1) God
AND
2) "His word".

In other words, we should not be separating the two, loving Jesus ONLY is enough because Jesus ("His word") is "God in entirety". "God" and "His word" are both INTEGRAL in JESUS (singular designation includes both). So, any mention of also loving "His word" is not only unecessary, but also has proven to be very misleading (we should NOT revere His BOOK). We should love God OVER AND ABOVE everything.

A further illustration of why the distinction between "His word" and "Jesus" is important is that our being should not be "in the book", it should only be "In HIM" (His BODY, not a building or a book)...

Acts 17:28
"for 'In him we live and move and have our being'...".


We have been taught to be partisan (like a social club or army) and figuratively put on a "christian uniform" (pretense) and "salute properly" and to "march" properly according to the specifications in the book (and "COMPLY"). We have been taught to treat Jesus like an ICON/celebrity that we should carry out the proper procedures (protocol) in order to flatter Him and patronize Him using "prayer" repeatedly because we don't trust that He has already forgiven us and we have to "plead" with Him to do what is good. We have been taught "self abasement" so there can be no genuine heartfelt PERSONAL/SELF relationship.

Do you not see that the "moneychangers" have only kept us for themselves?...they don't care for us to "enter by the door", they only want us for their moneychanger empire.

Love GOD ONLY (His whole fullness). "Delight" in The Lord ONLY and He will...

"give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4).
