Yes, drinking alcohol can make the odor worse. It will definitely give you bad breath. Also, don't use hygiene products with a strong fragrance. Try to find soaps and shampoo that are unscented and with a pH of 5.0 to 6.0. I have found that unscented baby products work well. I can smell my odor so I know this can make a difference.
