I have a home unit and the way I set it up is I place the tip in the end of the 6 ft tube, then I wedge the 3 inch piece into the hole in the board. I then insert the tip attached to the tubing through the 3 inch piece while it is in place on the board. If you are worried about the tip going in to far the instructions for my board said to place a small piece of tape three inches up from the end that is inserted. Set up the board and when you insert the tip, you will feel the tape. If the tip is going in past the tape, you can either push it further in to the 6ft tube, or take it out and cut the amount that it is too long from the end that is inserted in to the 6ft tube.
