The moderators can't see the real ID either, only the Webmaster might have access to this, but not necessarily.

However, bear in mind if user Fred posts anonymously as #121212, and #121212 gets blocked, then so does Fred. That can be a little embarrassing.

So the moral of the story is go get yourself another ID if you want to insult someone
