I don't know the answers sorry, that's why I suggested a doctor. Maybe someone else here can help. If I were her then I would not fast at all, but would go on Dr Fuhrman's eating plan, which is what I am doing. Good luck

(edit) by tell the truth, I meant tell the truth to the doctor that the problems started when she is fasting, a lot of people don't like to admit to their doctor that they are fasting, because many doctors don't approve. But in her case, if the problems started during a fast it would be wise to admit this if she does go to the doctor for a diagnosis.
