Dr. Fuhrman offers soy as an alternative. I've read some debates and there seems to be parties on both sides so I haven't decided based on that but I have decided based on my philosophy of natural food (i.e. never seen tofu on a tree or soy in a river - and I don't think that man can improve upon god/mother nature's good by processing) that I do not trust soy products personally. Nut milks although more expensive are definitely a better choice, IMO.
