To get you started here is a little info...

Dr. Joel Fuhrman's "Eat To Live"

~~~~~UNLIMITED~~~~~

ALL RAW VEGETABLES: romaine, kale, collards, parsley,
Swiss chard, carrots, spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers,
mushrooms, onions, celery, all lettuce, snow peas,
red & green peppers, (at least 1 Lb daily)

RAW, STEAMED OR FROZEN: asparagus, bok choy,
Brussels sprouts, cabbage, celery, spinach, onions, broccoli,
mushrooms, kohlrabi, okra, water chestnuts, peas,
string beans, green beans, zucchini. (at least 1 Lb daily)

NON GREEN / NON STARCHY: beets, eggplant,
onions, tomatoes, yellow & red peppers,
bamboo shoots, cauliflower, garlic.

BEANS, LEGUMES, BEAN SPROUTS, and TOFU:
at least 1 cup daily

FRESH FRUIT: at least 4 daily

~~~~~LIMITED~~~~~

NOT MORE THAN ONE CUP DAILY:
cooked starchy vegetables or whole grains, barley, oats,
brown rice, wild rice, squash, corn, potatoes, cooked carrots,
sweet potatoes, breads, cereals, pasta

RAW NUTS AND SEEDS: 1 oz per day maximum

AVOCADO: 2 oz per day maximum

GROUND FLAX SEED: 1 TB daily maximum
