"However, a good assistant should have a high speed suction tip right next to the tooth at all times, which will remove all fumes from the air before they get anywhere near your nose."

This has been my thought too. The suction device will remove most though not all of the mercury vapors. The question is where are the vapors evacuated to? Obviously the liquids end up down some drain somewhere.  If they are merely evacuated to a point inside the room that would contaminate everybody.

I do recommend mercury removal for:chronic fatigue,brain fog,sensitivity to sound,anger problems,emotional instability,anxiety,excess salivation,bad breath,intestinal gas,oily skin,acne,nightmares,depression(though Hg may only make it worse not cause it)
