First off let me tell you that I do think this woman is slightly wacko and that she is most definitely irresponsible.  I say this NOT because she wanted to have a large family, I know lots of people with large families and I do not say this about them.  ( I would have loved a large family myself :-(      But it's in the cavalier way that she has gone about making a large family.  If what is reported is true, then she purposefully has avoided marriage and commitment, which is not the ideal way of planning for a child, much less a batallion of them.   I  would think that a responsible person would back off from having a family that they could not support or share in raising with another person.

  What worries me a great deal about this story is that because it has elements than can rightfully outrage many, it provides other elements and open doors for Big Gov to tell us just who and how many children we can have.  Today,  it is justified to be concerned about a single family receiving tons of finacial aid from taxpayer's money,  but tomorrow some perfect injustices can spring up based on the decisions and attitudes taken now in this matter.

  So I would join you in cautioning all who go beyond the first initial outrage at this woman's lack of sense and discretion, to think long and hard at what the outcome of our inpulsive behavior may bring.  Yes, population control and who knows what else.

  In many of the commments I have read regarding this woman all across the internet, I sense more of a disgust that anyone would "choose" to have a large family, as opposed to simply be apalled that taxpayer funds are being used to raise these children.   Are some of these critics the same that don't mind if thousands of illegals use the emergency rooms to treat their colds at taxpayer's expense?

Be very careful of the freedoms you want to strip from someone else, the next individual to have his/her freedoms cut off could be you.
