The "Mark of the Beast" 666 is the three ruling world powers that is controlled by satan....although they may not be aware of it.
1. Pollitcal (all)
2. Religious (false)
3. Commercial (media and anything involved in promoting the former or other things condemned by God)
The number 6 sybolizes incompletness and sinister. (#7 is complete and pure=God's kingdom)
All three of the '6' support each other in all forms.
By supporting in any of these 3 powers is to receive a mark of the beast.
So to some degree just about everyone has at some point.
