I've been taking the same dosage of Bio-Identical Estrodial Troche for the last almost 4 years now.

Lately though, I have had SEVERE depression, and SEVERE acne.

I have a gyno appointment in a week or so-does this sound like I need a new hormone maybe?

I take 1mg of Estrodial, twice a day. I tried to quit taking them, and I felt more "balanced" and "normal"...but then I had so much confusion and brain fog that I could not function at my job at all. And the hot flashes!!! Wow!

So obviously I cannot go without the HRT. I've had a complete hysterectomy 5 years ago btw.

I have bad side effects from the usual HRT like Premarin, etc.

I can't deal with this depression-it's worse than I've ever experienced, and the Acne is horrid!

Does this sound hormonal? Does HRT stop working, or do you need to switch to a different kind after awhile?
