While many people like Rooth have had great success with dating sites, on the flipside many have not. One thing I've read over and over is that often people will connect and communicate on line for quite sometime before finally meeting in person. When the face to face meeting happens, they sometimes find that the physical attraction component is missing. With no physical attraction, the relationship either goes south or just ends up as a friendship. So...be prepared, that may well be the way things play out.
