Wow , I had forgotten about the back pain until I read this thread. I had constant lower back pain, as well as upper back, neck and shoulder pain, while I had mirena. I thought it was muscle strain, or tension (I seemed to be always stressed out when I had the mirena). I was seeing the chiro and occupational therapist at least once a week for this pain. Since removal the pain is completely gone, and I only get muscle strain when I try to hit the golf ball too hard :). I haven't even seen a chiro or OT since I had that evil little plastic thing removed.

Thank you for the reminder of how far I've come since those dark mirena days, and I wish all of you a healthy journey.
