During the cold winter days, I always develop cuts under my toes. They are very dry, often discolored or a bright red. Before going to bed, I would put lots of moisturizer at night and wrap my feet in plastic and then put socks over it. I wake up the next morning with nice, soft feet but not for long. As soon as I go about my day, it gets so dry again and the cuts under my toes would hurt so much sometimes it's difficult to walk.

I know I have glucose problems and diabetes runs in my family.
I try to stick to a healthy Diet as much as I can.
But my feet are really bothering me.
Even in the summer, even though I have no cuts under my toes they are always discolored. Unless I continuously rub them, the toes are never healthy looking. They are either bluish black, bright red or just plain discolored. It is so ugly looking that I can't even wear open toed sandals in the summer.

What do I need to do to get rid of the cuts and discoloration on my toes?
PLEASE HELP.
