I was told I didn't need to have had a child first, it just makes the insertion easier because the cervix would have experienced "opening". The insertion was so painful...I can't imagine what child birth would be like!
I keep wanting the symptoms to subside...Mirena sounded like such a miracle birth control! I'm so happy I found this site. If no one minds, I'll post my outcome in the next few days after I see my MD. Thanks again!
