Hi RiverQueen! Just so you know...I did a Master Cleanse fast with Bentonite and psyllium back in November, and finished it off with a Liver Flush on the 8th evening. My Epsom Salts didn't have anything to encounter either. I didn't have any cramps. But I also halved the amount of Epsom Salts . A friend of mine halved them too because the first time she did it she had diarrea for about 5 days afterwards. Since some people don't even take the Epsom Salts , I think it's fine to experiment with less.

Now, I am only taking 1 tsp in a cup of water twice at night. Then in the morning 1 tbsp in a cup of water...if my bowels haven't sufficiently moved then I take another 1/2 tbsp or so in water two hours later. Everyone has their own way and you'll find after a while that you find what's best for you. Also...the first time I did my Liver Flush I only took 1 tsp of epsom salts in a cup of apple juice ONCE the night before (then two hours later another cup of AJ, but without ANY ES) and I got my biggest stones out so far on that flush. So, it does work with less ES.
