No shower filter can remove fluoride because the flow rate is too fast for the size that would fit in the shower. for 650 dollars a 5 foot tank can be purchased and put in the garage to filter whole house water. It needs to be filled with about 30 or 40 pounds of bone char (hydroxyapatite, the same ingredient the Sugar industry has used for 80 years to filter cane Sugar to make White Sugar , and the same ingredient in the bones and pineal gland hat trap the fluoride ion). It needs to be changed after about (I'm expecting) 8 months or so. This is how I did my 2 bath 3 bedroom home. 3,000 dollars was wasted on other filters that were supposed to work. My fluoride electrode proved them wrong. A company called promolife has undersink units that remove fluoride and we are testing them now. At modest flow rates they should lower the fluoride pretty well. Of course one of these could be installed on a shower wand and as long as the flow rate was slow enough one could shower fluoride free also. The units are inexpensive, about 100 or so.
