One of the most delicious things I ate was a locally caught brown trout, given to me by a friend when I visited my family in Wales last year.

I also felt very nourished after it, unlike the normal shop-bought frozen fish. The same guy that caught the fish also has an allotment and grows his own veg, including tomatoes. Only thing is his tomatoes taste 10 times nicer than shop bought tomatoes. He also does runner beans, peas and so on, and gives any extra food to friends and neighbours, or I think he sells some things as well, but very cheaply.

He is in great health too. Hardly surprising really. Isn't it amazing that the nicest and best things are often those which are the cheapest and simplest?

Anyway, I agree that fish are good. I think we are omnivores, and I don't think small quantities of meat or fish do harm, as per the ravediet video, provided we eat healthily all round.

Good thread this, one that I think I will be linking too very often. I really appreciate the 3 Rs that one of the mods gave my video message below. People forget that eating is the more difficult part of the fasting process, the importance of which is often ignored.

I am already soaking my beans for tomorrow's Kale soup!
