Iodine supplements do make a difference with how your body reacts to extreme temperature. Yesterday we had 46C and I had to work with no aircon. I was working away while people around me were melting. Yes I was sweating, but did not feel ill. I drink water with iodine all day to keep up fluid intake. I was amazed at how my body adjusted itself to the outside temperature.
