Hi mrsbeetle, in some ways I think the mirena disaster that happened to me was one of the best things that could happen, it made me realise what I was putting my body through by having synthetic things inside it. It has also made me a lot more wary about any drug or product from pharmacutical companies. I research everything now before I decide to use it or not. I didn't do any research on mirena when I got it, I just took the doctors word that it was right for me. Never again. So in a round about way my mirena disaster was a positive thing in my life.
