If you're serious about moving to non-toxic substances, the easiest way to do it is not to use anything pre-mixed by the manufacturer. That is the only way to know what you're getting.

Mix your own cleaning solutions from vinegar and water and peroxide and water.

Mix your own facial cream from organic olive and coconut oils. Use fresh (plain) yogurt with freshly mashed fruits for a facial masque.

Mix tea tree oil into coconut oil for an anti-fungal, anti-bacterial foot cream.

There are lots of household recipes -- and they are cheaper than the expensive toxics. You also know what is in them.
