I have a couple that I can suggest. More skin care than makeup, but sometimes the same effect I suppose.

You can scrub your face with salt, it works well as an exfoliator. Then moisturize with vitamin E. This is probably only a good idea for people like me, with dry skin.

I have more recently been using a weird technique that I thought up, and have had some success. I mix salt and cayenne and scrub my lips with it - using my finger or a toothbrush. When I rinse it off, I put Vit. E oil on, and my lips have a rosy glow. This would probably work on cheeks too, though you would have to be careful to avoid your eyes.

You can of course make a mask from bentonite. It eliminates problems on the outside as well as the inside.
