Liza when you open the forum botton at the top of the home page there is a little welcome section, that invites us all to discuss what is on our minds. And I do understand what you are saying, but beauty is something very important to alot of women, not just for men, and who cares if they take it seriously or not, its for our health and mental well being. It is also like you pointed out in an earlier post that there is no other forum for women, so we took this one and used it as one to discuss women's issues. As you have noticed, when we start cleansing our bodies the results show from not only the way we feel but also the way we look on the outside. And I'm not discussing something that is superficial, I'm talking about something quite serious. Many women have gotten terribly sick from using the wrong cosmetics (chemically laden, etc...) and have sufered the after effects. But I don't believe that they should give up their enjoyment or pleasure in feeling good about themselves by using pretties like makeup, skin and hair care products, I just believe we need an option an alternative. And I thought that is what we might discuss with other women. It is not a vain thing, for many it is a psycological fixation, and I'm not too sure its really wrong to want to look good. Wouldn't it seem that there is something more disturbing if a woman wasn't interested in taking care of herself, whether it be make-up, exercise or cleanses? Just the same I do see how this topic could be very benefical to women suffering from infertility. If a woman has a 'need' to use cosmetics but it is making her sick inside because of the crap her body is filling up with and thus has a reaction like infertility..... So I do see the importance of this topic, I just hope you might look at it from my point of view also. Elaina
