I was curious about the drug your husband took and I discovered that the generic name for Clarithromycin is Biaxin. I have heard of Biaxin and did some research about adverse reactions. I found this site:

Seems like one of the more harsh Antibiotics . Some are continuing to have symptoms months after having stopped the antibiotic.

I'm not saying this is what your husband is dealing with but just something to consider...He could still have adrenal issues, as a result of or aside from this.
