Actually, ozone should not have the same effect.
Chlorine dioxide has two oxygen molecules and one chlorine molecule.
It is the chlorine molecule that does the killing. The oxygen molecules are only there to carry the chlorine around in the body (very effectively).

At least that is how I understand Miracle-Mineral-Supplement . SilverFox will correct me if I'm wrong.
