Your very meritorius wishes would be wonderful in a transparent world of "what you see is what you get".  The world we see is not at all the world that we get.

I wish he would pull a few miracles out of his hat too and somehow prove to be not tied to the same puppet strings a whole line of past presidents and politicians have danced to.

Excuse me if I do not hold my breath.  Hiring a GMO Monsanto stooge to run Agriculture and a Merck connected Gardasil proponent to run health are twin bad omens for us in this community.

Worse still for the entire country:  Throwing good money after bad and continuing the bailout and trying to spend our way out of a financial crises caused by over spending and lax credit.  Such bandaid on the surface of a long festering sickness is only going to make the injury that much worse and the recovery that much longer I fear.

Tomorrow is the swearing in.  After that will be the swearing.
