I had one tiny spark of hope. That has been snuffed out. You always have at least ONE in there somewhere. Maybe I'm mistaken. Maybe he'll do what needs to be done. Maybe, maybe, maybe. Maybe is a big word. First he helped push through the banker bailout. That's just the beginning. But as I watch the record amounts of money being used to "celebrate" this Judas's ascent to the throne while we're going under, people are losing their jobs and homes, bankers are stealing their money, I don't think I've ever been so sick to my stomach. And this is just the beginning. If he were the person he claims to be, don't you think maybe (there goes that word again) he should have said, "No, don't spend this kind of money on an inauguration. Swear me in, let's have lunch and let's get to work"? I feel as if this is just symbolic of what's to come.
TVs and radios off Tuesday in my house. My stomach can't take it.
