it's so sunny, even on cold days, that we can dry anything outside!!! I grow basil and parsley, and I'm about to plant some cilantro and a few other herbs possibly, and will dry them outside. It only takes a few hours because of the sun and heat, then I put them in paper towels and in a baggie. They keep forever!!!!
