Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately ground flax seed exacerbates my abdominal pain, as do a lot of other high fibre foods. The protein is a good idea and I try to have a small amount of protein with each meal. This is good for energy but it still doesn't explain why foods that help my liver make my constipation worse.
