On the Maranatha "Organic" peanut butter website, it states that their nuts are "virtually" free of aflatoxins. There could be some in there and this doesn't cover other fungal toxins or byproducts. Organic is always a better choice with anything. Some people have inherited gluten allergies, so mold or no mold wouldn't make a difference. Wheat bread regardless, is still a simple carbohydrate that I have found doesn't work on a candida diet.
