Hi Luella-

The resource quoted in the above article came from Andreas Moritz, one of the original amazing true healers on Curezone. When Andreas discussed bras being a cause of cancer, my dear friend and mentor Owen Murphy- the Owen everybody sees near the top of the page after they first log in to the Curezone website, discussed the practice of wearing bras with me. I researched on my own following this discussion, and this is what I concluded:

Women in Western cultures are going to wear bras during the day for modesty/decency and/or to support the heaviness of their breasts. For many women, to go without a bra would cause back pain and even posture issues. Going without a bra can cause unsightly stretch marks.

However, it is amazing to me that most women do not get properly fitted for a bra. The bands are often too loose and the cup sizes are often too small. Underwire bras actually dig into a woman's rib cage and up near her arm pits. Women often wait a long time to get new bras because of the expense, and wear bras that have lost their elastic. This defeats the purpose of a bra.

At night, women should sleep without bras, unless their breasts are so large it would be uncomfortable to go without one. This gives the whole chest area a chance to have free and unencumbered circulation. If a bra is needed at night, a woman should get a cotton or silk sleep bra.

During the day, a woman should wear a really good cotton "work" bra without underwire. Go to the lingerie department at a quality department store and get properly fitted. A perfectly fitted cotton bra "breathes," allows circulation, and enhances a woman's figure. Purchase about three cotton bras, and replace them when they lose their shape.

The same rules apply for sports bras. They need to be made of natural fibers and fit well. A woman should not wear sports bras all day long unless she is an athlete, because they unnaturally flatten a woman's breasts, decreasing circulation.

Then there are the beautiful "special occasion" bras. Even these should fit well and be made of silk or another natural fiber.

We ladies have to love ourselves enough to purchase "healthy" bras. Nordstrom and Victoria's Secret have 50% off sales twice a year. Both stores have fitting experts. It is so important that we do everything we can to prevent breast or any other kind of cancer. We need to do this both for ourselves and our daughters.

I hope this helps.

Donna
