Andrea -

You are likely to see a great deal of advice, and much of it about diet and herbs and supplements and Budwig, etc., will be good advice BUT:

In many instances what worked for one person or a few people may be an exception and may not work for everyone or even the majority of people.  What does work for the very large majority of people is the protocol I put together.  My Yahoo group called oleander soup has almost 1100 members now and is over five years old.  Only one person who joined the group and stuck with the program is not still alive in all that time - and that person came to us with only scant weeks to live after years of chemo and radiation had destroyed his immune system and damaged his major organs.

You don't have to do the entire protocol to be successful - just as much as you can and you surely should follow the advice for diet (especially including the flaxseed and cottage cheese part of the Budwig diet), lifestyle, mild to moderate exercise, elimination of stress, plenty of sunshine and all the other things you can do that cost little of nothing.

Oleander is a key.  So is adequate vitamins and minerals including trace minerals and plenty of iodine and selenium.  Curcumin, taken in large amounts (3000 mg) with biopirene or ground black pepper, can be a powerful, powerful cancer fighter.  The same is true of grapeseed extract and both are very inexpensive - especially curcumin.  You can get it off the shelf at the grocers as a common spice.

The liver is also a key.  Especially if she has cancer in the liver itself.  Personally if my son told me "Dad you better do coffee enemas if you want to live" I be dropping my drawers in a hurry (smile).  But I understand that it is not a pleasant concept, so if she absolutely refuses she should at least do a liver flush, even one of the slower acting milder ones, once a month or so.  And she should do the coconut oil, beetroot juice and other items for the liver that will help keep the bile ducts open so that the toxins released from the dying cancer cells can be eliminated and so the liver can be protected and regenerated.  Milk thistle is an absolute must!

Look at my protocol.  Join my Yahoo group. And note that oleander has been very successful against cancers that are in the lung, liver and other parts of the body at the same time.  Ask my 85 year old uncle.  Chemo failed him and he took oleander and a few other good items and did all the healthy things he could and today he is cancer free.  You can make oleander yourself according to the directions on my website.  The person who figured out how to make it from the original patent for the patented medicine version used it for his own mother who had lung and liver cancer.  Or, you can buy the patented medicine version for about $2700 for a three month supply.  Or, you can do as I now do (I also have taken the home remedy) and buy the herbal supplement version for $45 or $60 a bottle depending on if you get the capsules or the extract.  For someone with metastatic cancer, it will likely take three bottles a month.

The protocol may appear to look complicated, but it really is just an anti-cancer lifestyle of making good decisions that someone should embrace and follow daily as if their life depended on it - because that very well may be the case.

That is my very strong opinion on what your mother can do.  It is what I have researched, what I recommend to my group, and what I know is successful.

Not to sound egotistical, because this is not about a contest to see who has the best plan (and there are many good ones), it is about saving lives.  I think that I am likely the moderator here for a reason.  I certainly did not ask for the job.

All the best,

DQ
